As an RCC resident you have the opportunity to post services that you can offer your
neighbors. Supporting each other in business endeavors helps each of us grow as
individuals, as well as, a community.
We'd hope to see your business posted here. Looking for cosmetic reps, tutors, notary, tax
preparer, landscapers, babysitters, etc. If you'd like to post your services on the RCCA
website, please send your contact information, what your service is and a brief description

Welcome Committee Volunteers
We need volunteers to assist the Board in welcoming new residents to the community.
If you are interested in meeting and greeting our new neighbors, please contact
Pat Sandlin at (916) 359-3064.
You will be providing a beneficial service to our community and our association.
This is not a paid position
- RCCA wants to make sure the pool area is enjoyable for everyone. A "Designated
Smoking Area" has been established to help keep the air clean for all residents.
- Please note that dogs ($50 fine), skateboards are not permitted in the park or pool
area. Bicycles maybe walked through the park.
- RCC Park has two entrances for residents convenience.
One entrance is 2701 Truxel Road and the other is 1710 River City Way.
- We also enforce the policy that residents are not permitted to prop open the
entrance gate at anytime.

Pool Committee Volunteers
The River City Commons Homeowners Association is seeking a few volunteers from the
community to team up in forming a Pool Committee. The purpose of this new committee is
to assist the HOA with assessing, formulating and implementing creative solutions for the
overall improvement of one of our community’s most valued and frequently utilized assets---

Original Home Fixtures
We have new homeowners who are restoring their homes and are looking for original
fixtures. If you have retained any original house lights or front door handles and are
willing to donate or sell them, please contact the Architectural Committee, who will keep
them for owners wanting to restore the originals. Also, if you plan any remodeling and
expect to toss any original hardware or lights (inside or out) in the future, please keep this
in mind.
Winter Pool Volunteers
The RCCA is looking for dedicated pool visiting volunteers to assist in keeping the spa open
on the weekends through the rest of the year. If you are interested in volunteering, please

Request For Committee Members
RCCA Board has created a committee to discuss the future impact of Regional Transit’s
proposed light rail service that would connect downtown Sacramento to the River District,
South & North Natomas, and the Sacramento International Airport with a new line dubbed
“Green Line”. This light rail line will cross the American River and run the rail system down
Truxel Road. The committee will investigate & discuss what impact this will potentially have
on our neighborhood and how we can communicate our concerns to Regional Transit and
the City of Sacramento. If you are interested in volunteering on the committee or would like
to provide your input for the committee to address Regional Transit, please contact David
